Ways To Partner
with The 501

Above All
Pray
Prayer simply is communion with God. It is to commune with the actual person of the LORD via the Holy Spirit.
There is truly no greater way you could partner with The 501 than through prayer. As you spend time with the Lord Jesus and seek Him in private (Matthew 6), pray that the gospel would be preached (Romans 10:14), that blind eyes would be opened to see Jesus Christ and Him crucified and resurrected (Luke 24), and that every heart that is blinded would behold Him, Jesus, and His finished work of the cross and resurrection. This is the very heartbeat of our ministry. Pray that Jesus would be our message, and that we would never change the subject. Isaiah 66 proclaims the heart of the Lord in His seeking for this kind of person: ‘the one who will build me a house’, and the one kind of person He is looking for is one of lowly and contrite heart. Would we be a house that has that heart.
Where only one thing is needed, and it is Jesus. (Luke 10:42)
Giving
Financially
It is no mystery at all that what we do requires financial giving. Every Freedom Night, every gathering, the existence of a leadership team and the ongoing ministry of our house requires money to continue that work. We also have a heart to give away what God has given us financially. We are constantly looking for ways to bless and partner with other ministries in our city that preach the gospel, take care of and tend to the widows and orphans, and expand the message of Jesus into the furthest corners of the earth. We always want to be a ministry that gives. There is simply no way we can honor Jesus and follow Him and not be a giving people. So as we ask for prayerful consideration for you to give to the ministry of Jesus, we also want to make it known that we ourselves are praying for ways to give back. Every cent that comes into our ministry’s bank account goes to building a house that loves, worships and honors Jesus, whether that is under our roof, or someone else’s. We believe that the Lord Jesus is building a special house for us in Athens — one that keeps the one thing the one thing — loving the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Financial
Partnership
Signing up for recurring monthly donations to The 501 Exchange makes you a monthly partner. Our ministry right now has a very focussed and simple vision: to create a place in Athens, GA where the Lord can build a house for Himself, where many would gather under one roof to know Him, worship Him and love Him. Simply put, His presence is our vision. He is our clarity. With all of this, we create space for the Holy Spirit of God to set people free.
Your monthly donations go completely to serving that before mentioned vision. Right now, our primary role of obedience to the Lord has been hosting our monthly Freedom Night. This happens the last Thursday of every month. We gather for this one reason — Him. We worship Him for hours. We open his Holy Scriptures. We take communion. We fellowship. When His presence is in that room, we know we have a successful meeting. The Holy Spirit comes every time we gather, because He promised He would be there when we gather in His Name — and we do. We then continue to shepherd all who come to a personal and relational walk with the Lord Jesus himself, which eventually is our prayer of every person who leaves that space.
“Where two or more are gathered in My Name, surely I am there, even in the midst of them”
- Matthew 18:19-20

Journey With Us
Partnering with us can also look like walking with us. Our Freedom Night gatherings are beyond description with words on how beautiful they are. There is truly nothing like being with a people who are gathered for one reason — to know, love, and worship Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Our Freedom Nights are the last Thursday of every month. Psalm 84 says this:
1 How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young —a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
